Concept of a frozen planet which orbits the one of the dimmest and youngest Red Dwarf stars, roughly 75 J masses. These Red Dwarves glow so feebly that even at this distance, or at least in the twilight belt you would still be quite cold.

despite their limited fuel, the dimmest Red Dwarf Stars can burn for over 12 Trillion Years vs our Suns 10-13 billion years (including red giant phase).

Because of the severe gravitational stresses on the planet it will be gravitationally locked.

Fortunately if you live on the eternal "noon" side of the planet, temperatures can be quite balmy. This planet is habitable, but no where as nice as planet Earth mainly because Red Dwarf stars flare up violently.

Because Red Dwarf stars are fully convectional and are much more magnetic. The youngest red dwarf stars because of their rapid acceleration can generate solar flares can be thousands of times as brilliant than our Sun's flare ups.
During the flare ups the red dwarf glows so brilliantly that it turns blue, this planet will also take a lot of the heat from the flare as atmospheric temperatures soar to the hundreds of degrees C while massive CMEs can heat up the atmosphere sometimes to 1000 C.

The cave formations portray thawing ice that is frozen shortly, sights on this planet are quite frequent.

Because of this almost all life lives under the oceans, in fact the only life on the surface are the human and humanoid travelers in protective clothing!

The planet orbits around this star in an elongated orbit, the gravitational stresses on this world per cubic feet of rock is several times that of IO of Jupiter which helps keep the core from freezing up and helps with a magnetosphere, more importantly helps keep volcanic activity at a constant to replenish the atmosphere. This fights some of the atmospheric loss.

(the Red Dwarf star is portrayed abnormally large in this picture because or the severely elongated orbit, this is the closest approach. Way inside the Habitable Zone, but it will not stay within this zone for more than 24 hours before being shot out past the Habitable Zone.) Future works will portray the planet in its different stages in this elongated orbit.

Age of Red Dwarf Star - 990 Million years. This Red Dwarf is a captured satellite of the Sunatta Star System. The rest of the star system is portrayed in my other works.

RED DWARF STARS are still great candidates for life! But YOUNG Red Dwarves such as this one are questionable because young stars tend to flare up much more than older stars due to the fact that stars rotations eventually slow hence weaker magnetosphere.

very cool, I am so interested in space and science, and this concept is something that could possibly exist, it is very plausible. They have actually found similar planets orbiting smaller and cooler stars in the universe, and because the stars are cooler, it would be a frozen wasteland. So somewhere like this most definitly would exist somewhere.

Oh my glob, this is so magnificent! The roughness of this piece is so different from other extra-terrestrial planet landscapes, it's like a breath of fresh air. Or fresh ice air. xD [it kinda reminds me of a watercoloring]
